CURRENT SERIES - Advent
Year of our Lord, Advent 2019Throughout the history of Christ's Church, the four Sundays preceding Christmas have been called Advent. Advent means approach or coming. When celebrating Advent we remember the three great "comings."First, we remember Christ's birth. We celebrate the truth that Christ, the long-ago-promised Messiah, the long-expected Savior, finally came. Each year we step back through the centuries as we participate in the hopefulness of God's people of old.Our hoping is not just a stepping back in time. We also celebrate Christ's coming into our own lives - now. He is here. We know more than Mary about the significance of the life of Jesus, and we have a vision of Jesus that Joseph could not have imagined. We have a rich treasure of images of Jesus' life, death, and Resurrection, and of the coming of the Spirit. This treasure spurs us to celebrate Christ's coming into our hearts and lives every day.Advent also encourages us to stand on tiptoe anticipation of yet another coming: Christ is returning at the end of the age. He will come again to establish His eternal kingdom, to bring the new heavens and the new earth!During Advent 2019, our worship messages will focus on the Great Gifts that God has given to strengthen our lives of waiting: the Gift of Eternal Life, the Gift of the Holy Spirit, the Gift of Forgiveness and the Gift of His Son.Let us worship together to celebrate His Great Gifts!

SATURDAY NIGHT SERVICE
Waterstone's Saturday Night Service is a family-friendly, engaging service that serves as one more opportunity for our members and community to come worship and explore the Kingdom of God.
Our pastors and sermons are the same as Sunday mornings and our music is similar, with a more acoustic feel.
Kids Ministry is offered for newborns - 4th graders. As a fun difference from Sundays, kids age 3 - 4th grade will sit with their parents for worship, then be taken to classes by Kids Staff and volunteers. Parents need to check their kids in prior to the start of service and pick them up from classes afterwards.
Join us on a Sunday morning at 9am or 10:30am. Parking is located on the west and east sides of our building. Check in kids at the check-in counter in the middle of the Concourse, drop them off at their respective classrooms, and join us in the Worship Center for our main service.
Children’s programming is available during both services newborns - 6th grade. All children must check in at the counter located in the middle of the Concourse.
Junior High and High School programming is available for students during the second service. Students may head straight to their respective classrooms (Junior High in 215E and Senior High in 217E) for their program.
Main services consist of a mix of contemporary worship songs and classic hymns with a modern twist, followed by biblical teaching from one of our pastors. Before or after the service, be sure to stop by the Information Desk to meet a staff member, get more information about our ministries, and learn about upcoming events.
Classes for adults are available during services as well. Visit New to Waterstone? for more information.
