Surrendering the Secret: Healing the Heartbreak of Abortion
8-week Bible study (participation is confidential)
Monday evenings 6:30-8:30pm starting September 30
Joni Leahy’s home
Many women hide the secret of abortion deep in their hearts, and suffer severe consequences. They carry a great burden of shame and failure afraid to reveal their hidden pain, and by doing so are forced to endure the long-lasting effects in isolation. Surrendering the Secret will allow women to release this burden and find freedom through “redemptive community” while experiencing hope and joy as shame and failure are replaced with beauty.

Golden Connections has a heart to minister to those members of Waterstone who are in their sunset years and unable to come to church. We enjoy spending time talking, providing a listening ear and companionship to those who still have so much to give.
If you are interested in having a regular visitor or volunteering to be a visitor, contact Golden Connections via or call 303.972.2200 x289.
We believe that good Christian counseling is “deep discipleship," one way of walking closely with people experiencing difficult life situations. We do not have a church counseling ministry. However, we have interviewed many mature, respected Christian counselors and have created a referral list for you.

The Jeffco Center for Mental Health offers mental health and related solutions for individuals in our county.
Man2Man is an open men’s group that meets weekly to practice James 5:16 – “Confess our sins to each other and pray for each other so we may be healed.”
The first thing a man learns when coming is that he is not alone. Many men live with the fear that if other people within the church knew his struggle, he would be rejected. Living in the lie that we are unacceptable keeps us isolated and prevents us from experiencing freedom. Man2Man is a place where there is no condemnation, but instead support, wisdom and hope. By making Christ our focus, we begin to turn from other things that compete for our desires.
