Learning – each month there is a theme/lecture with readings, reflective journaling, and discussion. From these elements, the students will gain a greater understanding of their theology and philosophy of ministry in different contexts.
Mentoring – each student is assigned a staff mentor that they meet with monthly. The mentors receive materials on the monthly theme to explore with the student.
Ministry – Concentrations include:
• Pastoral Care
• Pastoral Leadership
Experience - Each intern will get experience in their concentration as well as the 3 Rhythms. The Neighbor Rhythm focuses on reaching out to other with Christ’s love and Gospel message. The interns will create a Neighboring plan for their ministries. The Restore Rhythm focuses on finding ways to find where our passions and talents intersect with the needs of the world. Each intern makes a justice commitment and is reviewed monthly with their mentor.
