Waterstone Women

We are a community of Waterstone women who desire to create a safe and inclusive environment where we can be authentic and transparent in our journey with Christ. We want to empower women to become who God created them to be and equip them to serve by integrating Waterstone's Kingdom mission, vision and three rhythms into all we do.

Join us in decorating themed bags for each child.  These bags will hold special treats for the kids to enjoy during their quiet time. No special craft skills needed and all supplies will be provided.

If you cannot make April 4th you can also help by:
     1) Decorating your bag at home.
     2)  Provide high protein snacks for the kids to power through the     week.  Click here to sign up.
     3)  Purchase a reloadable King Soopers card.  King Soopers will donate a portion of all purchases to Royal Family Kids Camp.

Join us to discuss The Newcomers: Finding Refuge, Friendship and Hope in America by Helen Thorpe.  This biographical book follows the lives of 22 immigrant teenagers during their 2015-2016 school year at South High School in our very own hometown of Denver.  The church has asked us to challenge our thoughts and perspectives regarding the complex issues surrounding immigration and I believe this book will deliver! Please RSVP as space is limited to 12.

10:30am-12:00pm
Tower Room
Leader: Linda Warner
Cost: $14
Study: "The Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer (7 week study)

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.

Kids can stay in their Sunday school class while you attend.

MONDAY MORNING
April 1 – May 13
9:30am-11:30am
Tower Room
Leaders:  Joelle DuPriest and Shandi Broussard
Cost: $17 for optional book

In this workbook companion to Forgotten God, author Francis Chan reminds us of the true source of the church’s power—the Holy Spirit. Chan contends that we’ve ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, we operate in our own strength, only accomplishing human-sized results. This study offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit’s direction in our lives.

Child Care is available for a small fee; see the registration link for details.

Choose one or both of the Monday Morning Bible Studies.

THURSDAY MORNING
March 7 – April 25 (no meeting March 29)

Room 208
Leader: Kelly Paulson
Cost : $12
Study:  "Fervent" by Priscilla Shirer

You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith is specific. Personalized. Targeted.  This Prayer and Book study is your chance to fight back with prayer.

Each chapter will guide you in crafting prayer strategies that hit the enemy where it hurts, letting him know you’re on to him and that you won’t back down. Because with every new strategy you build, you’re turning the fiercest battles of life into precise strikes against him and his handiwork, each one infused with the power of God’s Spirit.

Register here for any of these studies.
