The Creek

A place where kids learn:
God made me.
God loves me.
God can be trusted.

This is a busy time in a child's life when they are exploring the world around them. We want children to learn that God created them in their own unique way and that they are loved!

Sunday Mornings:
Classes are available at 9 & 10:30a.m. and are grouped by birthdates. Children stay in the same room for one year.

Curriculum
We use Boz, a multi-media curriculum designed specifically for preschoolers. Your kids are sure to love following the adventures of Boz as he learns about God's amazing love for each of us.

Personal Belongings

Please bring a change of clothes for all children who are potty training. Please remember to label everything. Any crafts or special projects will be in a cubby for your child to take home.

Snacks
In The Creek, we provide Animal Crackers, Cheerios, Goldfish, Pretzels, Vanilla Wafers and Water. Parents may send snacks from home if necessitated by allergy or nutritional needs, as long as snacks do not include nut products, candy or gum.

Bathroom Assistance
Children will receive bathroom assistance as needed during their stay. If a child resists the volunteers assistance, we will not force them to comply. We will locate the child's parents in these instances to provide bathroom assistance. Male volunteers are exempt from providing bathroom assistance
.

Volunteer-Child Ratios
Each year we divide classes based on the amount of children enrolled. Classes are broken down in 6 month increments in order to create positive and nurturing learning environments. A minimum of two screened volunteers are present in each class to ensure proper ratios and supervision.
