The Journey at WaterStone's ultimate goal as a ministry is for our students to know and walk deeply with Jesus (Phil 3:7-8). Simply put, our desire for the students is a real, living commitment to Jesus Christ (Phil 4:8). We want to cultivate an environment that holds Jesus Christ and the gospel as ultimate, primary in our affections and the driving force in our lives (1st Cor 9:23).
Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
SO WHAT CAN I EXPECT? Because our number one goal is for our students to know and walk deeply with Jesus, every aspect of our ministry will be Christ centered and intentional. Sunday mornings we meet at 10:30am in the WaterStone Youth Room. You can expect faithful and relevant bible teaching, along with dynamic worship, and authentic discussion. | At the Journey we believe God can often use the wilderness as a powerful setting for transformation. We will be going on various outdoor adventures including snowshoeing, rock climbing, and backpacking. Check out the calendar for upcoming dates! |
