Waterstone Missions: Rhythms Around the World
The heart of missions at Waterstone is to live out our three Kingdom rhythms
across the street and around the world. We strategically focus in three areas:
championing local ministries, serving Muslims, and empowering development.
Whether you are passionate about seeking justice for the poor and
marginalized, sponsoring a child or village through Compassion International
and Plant with Purpose, or desire to experience God’s Kingdom advancing in a
cross-cultural setting, missions at Waterstone has a place for you!

Championing Local Ministries
Waterstone has a long history of working in the greater metro area. We are a resource bridge that connects the resource-rich to the poor and underserved.
After a crisis is over and immediate needs are met, it is time to empower people to move forward. Waterstone partners with Compassion International in Uganda and Plant With Purpose in the Dominican Republic to build a future instead of trapping people in communities of dependence.
There are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, which constitutes 23 percent of the population. They are represented by 3,430 different people groups, each with distinct languages, customs and heritages. Eighty percent of those groups have not heard the good news of Christ. God has called Waterstone to work with Muslims in a variety of settings.
For over 31 years, Waterstone has sent missionaries throughout the U.S. and across the world. Our missionaries currently serve in eight countries in many capacities ranging from leadership development, consulting, reaching the unreached, ministering to students, and church planting.
