Dear Smyrna: The Church Who Held On

Faithfulness is tested most when life gets difficult. This message takes us to the church in Smyrna and reminds us that following Christ does not always mean an easy road. There may be suffering, opposition, hardship, and moments when we feel like giving up. But our circumstances do not define our spiritual riches, and the cost of following Jesus is never greater than the hope we have in Him.  We’re encouraged to stay courageous, keep trusting, and hold firmly to our faith instead of giving in to fear, compromise, or the pressure around us. The promise is powerful: remain faithful, even through the trial, and look beyond what you’re facing today to the eternal hope that awaits.
