Dear Thyatira: The Church that made an Exception

The letter to Thyatira reminds us how easy it is to let personal desires and cultural values compete with our faith, calling us back to wholehearted devotion to Jesus. Through the story of Jezebel and Elijah, we’re challenged to stop “walking between two paths,” “hold fast to what you have,” and choose simple obedience over going through the motions. Because Jesus gave all of Himself for us, we’re invited to surrender every part of our lives to Him and discover the joy of a faith that holds nothing back.
