Do we ever feel like we are the "general contractors" of our own souls, constantly trying to renovate our lives through self-improvement while still feeling empty inside? Today we look at the story of Nicodemus to show us that we don't need another project or a better routine; we need a new birth that comes from stepping out of the darkness and simply receiving the life Jesus has for us.
