When Everything Falls Apart

When life completely falls apart and grief knocks the wind out of you, the only real choice is to keep putting one foot in front of the other as an act of trust in God. The story of Ruth and Naomi shows how loss can leave you feeling totally empty, but choosing to stay together in the hard times keeps you moving forward. Fortitude gives you the courage to keep walking through the darkest valleys, while faithfulness determines how you choose to walk, by staying loyal to God and showing up for the people around you. Trusting that better days are ahead, even when you can't see them yet, is where real hope begins.
